On Himari's first day of high school, Yori's singing leaves such an impression that Himari impulsively tells her she has fallen in love. Yori takes those words in a very different way, and the two soon realize that their mutual affection does not mean the same thing to each of them.

Through music, awkward conversations, and feelings neither can easily define, Himari begins questioning what love actually is while Yori hopes their growing closeness might become something deeper.
