Hanazakari no Kimitachi e

Mizuki Ashiya moves from the United States to Japan for a reason she tells almost no one: she wants to be close to Izumi Sano, the high jumper who inspired her from afar. The problem is that Sano attends an all-boys boarding school, so Mizuki cuts her hair and disguises herself as a boy in order to enroll.

The plan works almost too well, placing her in Sano's class and even his dorm room, but she quickly discovers that he has quit high jumping entirely. Rather than settle for simply being near him, Mizuki decides to learn what happened and help him return to the sport that first made her admire him. Between eccentric classmates and a school doctor who notices more than he should, she has to support Sano without revealing her identity while her feelings grow far more complicated than distant admiration.
