Diamond no Ace: Act II Second Season

Sawamura is now a second-year student and has finally stepped onto the field at the Spring Senbatsu Koshien, but he has no intention of letting that appearance remain a single memory. As the summer tournament approaches, he receives Seidou's number 1 and officially becomes the ace, the title he has chased since the day he entered the school.

The number on his back does not instantly make him a reliable ace. Sawamura must prove his consistency against opponents such as Ichidai Third, while Inashiro and Mei Narumiya wait on the road toward the summer Koshien. He is no longer fighting only to take the mound from Furuya. The entire team now looks to him to carry it through the third-years' most important tournament, where every pitch moves Seidou either closer to the national stage or toward a season that cannot be replayed.
