Ougon no Hou: El Cantare no Rekishikan

In the year 2403, student Satoru meets Alisa, a girl who has traveled from the future and invites him on a journey through time. Their destination is initially the 21st century, but a malfunction throws the pair far beyond their intended route.

Satoru and Alisa are carried from one age to another, witnessing people, teachings, and events presented as turning points in humanity's spiritual history. Unable to simply return home, they must follow the strange course of the journey and piece together what these distant eras are meant to reveal about the future from which they came.
