Clementine should be dead after her fatal encounter with Ainz Ooal Gown, yet she somehow returns to life. Knowing exactly what will happen if Ainz finds her again, she hides her identity and tries to flee the Kingdom before her impossible second chance ends as abruptly as the first.

Escaping Nazarick's reach proves much harder than expected. Wherever Clementine goes, she keeps crossing paths with members of the Pleiades battle maids, each encounter threatening to expose her and drag her back toward the one person she most wants to avoid. Her desperate flight becomes a comic punishment in which luck seems determined to place Nazarick directly in her path.
