Dragon Ball: Episode of Bardock

Bardock should have vanished with Planet Vegeta beneath Frieza's attack, yet he awakens alive on a world called Planet Plant, far in the past. The villagers who treat his wounds know nothing of Saiyans, and Bardock keeps his distance until invaders serving the space pirate Chilled begin threatening their peaceful home.

Chilled's resemblance to Frieza awakens Bardock's rage, but protecting the villagers soon becomes personal after he befriends the young Berry. Cornered by an enemy from the same bloodline that destroyed his people, Bardock is pushed toward a transformation that will echo through the history of Frieza's family.
