Batman: Gotham Knight

Gotham sees Batman through many different eyes. Children describe him as everything from a living shadow to a monstrous bat, while two police detectives caught between rival gangs discover how dangerous it is to work beside a vigilante they do not fully trust. Bruce Wayne also tests new technology, only to reject an advantage when it threatens innocent lives.

His battles lead beneath the city against Killer Croc and Scarecrow, and painful injuries stir memories of the training that taught Bruce to endure suffering without surrendering to it. The night eventually brings him against Deadshot, a precision assassin whose willingness to kill from a distance represents the line Batman refuses to cross.
