Two years after saving the world, Dan Bashin has lost the excitement he once found in ordinary Battle Spirits matches. Mai Shinomiya offers him a challenge worthy of that restless feeling and takes him to the year 2650, where humanity is losing a brutal struggle against the Mazoku.

In this ruined future, card battles once again carry the weight of lives and nations.
