Taabou no Ryuuguusei Daitanken

While patrolling space, Taabou lands on an unfamiliar planet and becomes caught in a conflict involving the troublesome Scorpio Brothers. He is rescued by the alien Poyo, who is trying to protect a precious plant from them, and Taabou decides to help rather than leave his new friend behind.

Their journey carries them through a black hole to a watery world ruled from a magnificent palace reminiscent of the legend of Urashima Taro. There, a dragon god asks the pair to rescue a princess, sending Taabou and Poyo onward to yet another planet and an even greater adventure.
