Ys

Young adventurer Adol Christin reaches the isolated land of Esteria just as monsters are tightening their grip on its towns and roads. A prophecy points to an outsider who may be able to end the crisis, and fortuneteller Sarah Tovah directs Adol toward six ancient books tied to the forgotten kingdom of Ys.

His search leads through mines, temples, ruined towers, and settlements living under constant fear. As Adol gathers the Books of Ys, he learns that the monsters are only part of a much older mystery involving vanished magic, twin goddesses, and the true history of Esteria.
