Magic Knight Rayearth

Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji meet for the first time at Tokyo Tower, only to be swallowed by a flash of light and carried to the magical world of Cephiro. There, the mage Clef tells them that Princess Emeraude summoned the three girls to become Magic Knights and rescue her from High Priest Zagato.

Cephiro is a world shaped by the strength of the heart, and with its Pillar imprisoned, the land itself is beginning to collapse. To return home, Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu must learn magic, awaken legendary Rune Gods, and grow strong enough to face Zagato, unaware that the truth behind Emeraude's wish may change what saving Cephiro actually means.
