Slam Dunk (Movie)

Hanamichi Sakuragi enters only his second real basketball match with Shohoku, but the opponent makes the game personal. Takezono High includes Oda, a player Sakuragi knew from junior high and someone whose connection to his embarrassing past gives Hanamichi another reason to prove himself.

Raw strength and confidence are no longer enough. As Shohoku battles a determined Takezono team, Sakuragi has to show that the reckless beginner who once treated basketball as a way to impress Haruko is beginning to understand how to contribute on the court.
