Rilakkuma to Kaoru-san

Kaoru is an office worker in her thirties whose life feels increasingly ordinary compared with the friends around her. Waiting at home, however, are three unusual roommates: the endlessly relaxed bear Rilakkuma, mischievous Korilakkuma, and practical yellow bird Kiiroitori.

Across the changing seasons, Kaoru wrestles with loneliness, money, work gossip, romance, and the uncomfortable feeling that everyone else is moving ahead. Her companions rarely solve these problems in the expected way, but their lazy afternoons, small adventures, and quiet affection remind her that a meaningful life does not always need to move at the same pace as everyone else’s.
