Macross F

In 2059, the Macross Frontier fleet carries millions of humans toward the galactic center in search of a new home. Alto Saotome, a young pilot trainee trying to escape the expectations of his famous acting family, becomes involved with superstar singer Sheryl Nome and Ranka Lee, a shy girl who dreams of singing professionally.

Their lives collide when the mysterious Vajra attack Frontier. Alto joins the private military organization SMS to defend the fleet, while Ranka’s growing music career and Sheryl’s fame become unexpectedly connected to the alien conflict. As battles intensify, love, music, and hidden research surrounding the Vajra draw the three into a struggle that may decide how humanity communicates with a life-form it barely understands.
