Boogiepop wa Warawanai (2019)

At Shinyo Academy, a string of disappearances revives whispers about Boogiepop, a mysterious figure said to appear when a threat to the world is near. Student Keiji Takeda dismisses the rumor until he encounters Boogiepop in person, wearing the face of his own girlfriend, Touka Miyashita.

As different students are drawn into unsettling incidents around the school, their memories, fears, and hidden connections begin to overlap. Behind ordinary teenage lives lurk beings and forces that prey on human weakness, while Boogiepop moves quietly between them, intervening before an unseen danger can spread beyond control.
