Hoshi no Samidare: Zenhan-sen

Talking lizard Noi arrives before Yuuhi Amamiya with an impossible revelation: Yuuhi has been chosen as a Beast Knight and must help protect Princess Samidare Asahina from the mage Animus, whose enormous Biscuit Hammer hangs in space with the power to shatter Earth. Yuuhi has little interest in heroism, especially after learning that Samidare hides a destructive wish of her own.

From Noi's perspective, the first stages of their strange alliance unfold as more Beast Knights enter the conflict and Yuuhi is forced to confront old wounds, new companions, and battles against Animus's golems. What begins as a reluctant pact gradually becomes a struggle over what the Earth means to the people destined either to save it or destroy it.
