Da Yu Hai Tang (Movie)

In a hidden realm that exists alongside the human world, Chun belongs to a people who govern the natural order. At sixteen, she takes the form of a red dolphin and enters the human world for a rite of passage, only to be trapped during a storm. A human boy saves her and drowns in the process.

Consumed by guilt, Chun bargains away part of her own life to restore the boy's soul in the form of a tiny fish she names Kun. Raising him in secret disrupts the laws of her world and brings disaster closer, forcing Chun to decide how much she is willing to sacrifice for a life that was lost saving hers.
