Yuri decides that the Afterlife Battlefront can reach God by making Angel believe they are enjoying school so intensely that they are about to disappear. “Operation High Tension Syndrome” orders everyone to behave with absurd enthusiasm all day, with a week without food awaiting them if the plan fails. Their forced excitement grows into a chaotic sports festival before Angel finally moves, and the entire SSS eagerly follows her toward what they assume must be Heaven's secret.

On another occasion, Yuri organizes an even more dangerous experiment during Golden Week: a picnic where the SSS members are encouraged to eliminate one another with traps. While the boys fall one by one, Sekine and Irie secretly try to overthrow Iwasawa as leader of Girls Dead Monster. Their schemes culminate in a horrifying concoction landing on Hisako instead, creating a problem so fierce that even Angel struggles to stop it.
