Mecard Ball

Fifth-grader Cha Youngwoong is unusually gifted with any kind of ball, but he never imagines that talent has a connection to his family's forgotten past. While cleaning a warehouse, he discovers a mysterious Mecard Ball and the Mechanimal Akan, just in time to defend himself from attackers seeking the same power.

Akan reveals that Mechanimals have long lived on Earth by using the energy of Mecard Balls, and that Youngwoong's missing answers may be tied to them. Determined to restore his mother's lost memories and protect the planet, he becomes a Mecard Ball Setter. His search soon brings him into conflict with other setters, including the mysterious Sera and the dangerous Kirayan.
