Mei to Koneko Bus

During a windy afternoon, Mei Kusakabe captures a tiny whirlwind inside the house and discovers that it is actually a baby Catbus. A caramel sweet is enough to turn the frightened creature into a friend, and that night it returns to invite Mei on a journey.

Riding through the darkness, Mei finds the forest alive with Catbuses of every size and shape, all gathering for a mysterious trip. Her little adventure carries her deeper into the strange, gentle world that surrounds Totoro, where even a gust of wind may be waiting to take her somewhere wonderful.
