Aggressive Retsuko

Retsuko is a twenty-five-year-old red panda working in accounting and trying to be the polite employee who never causes trouble. That makes it easy for her boss to dump extra work on her, for coworkers to make irritating remarks, and for everyone to expect the same calm smile no matter what happens. After work, that smile disappears inside a private karaoke booth, where everything she swallowed at the office comes out as furious death metal. Deadlines, hierarchy, and social pressure do not disappear, but Retsuko gradually discovers that kindness does not mean giving other people permission to cross her boundaries, and saying what she feels can be harder than screaming into a microphone.
