Violet Evergarden: Recollections

Violet Evergarden was raised for the battlefield and taught to follow orders, not to understand emotions. After the war leaves her scarred and without Major Gilbert, the person who mattered most to her, she begins working as an Auto Memory Doll, putting other people's feelings into letters.

Every client introduces Violet to a different form of love, grief, longing, or hope. As she searches for the meaning behind the final words Gilbert spoke to her, the former soldier slowly learns how deeply words can connect people and begins to discover a life beyond war.
