Macross 7

Thirty-five years after humanity and the Zentradi found peace, the massive Macross 7 colonization fleet travels through space in search of a habitable world. On City 7 lives Nekki Basara, the fiercely independent vocalist and guitarist of Fire Bomber, who believes music can reach people more powerfully than any weapon.

That conviction is tested when an unknown enemy begins attacking the fleet and draining victims of the mysterious life force known as Spiritia. While soldiers fight to protect the colony, Basara repeatedly flies straight into the battlefield for a very different reason: he wants allies and enemies alike to stop fighting long enough to listen to his song.
