Gegege no Kitarou: Obake Nighter

A weak youth baseball team suddenly becomes unbeatable after Nezumi Otoko gets hold of a mysterious yōkai bat. The bat can send nearly any pitch flying, but its victories come with a hidden price: every use slowly drains the life of the player swinging it.

Kitarou realizes the danger and warns the boys, yet the temptation to keep winning is difficult to abandon. To settle the matter, he challenges them to an eerie night game in a graveyard, where baseball rules collide with the supernatural and the cursed bat's true cost can no longer be ignored.
