Tannishou wo Hiraku

Yuien is a troubled young man searching for a way to live with the doubts and pain he carries. His path changes when he meets Shinran, a Buddhist teacher whose words about human weakness, compassion, and salvation challenge Yuien's assumptions about what makes a person worthy.

Accepted as Shinran's disciple, Yuien travels beside him and encounters people whose lives put those teachings to the test. Joy, loss, disagreement, and difficult choices gradually turn doctrine into lived experience, leaving Yuien with the task of understanding not only his teacher's words, but what it means to preserve their meaning after the journey ends.
