Tales of Zestiria the Cross

Sorey was raised among the seraphim in the isolated village of Elysia, giving him the rare ability to see spiritual beings most humans cannot even perceive. Since childhood he has believed an old tale that humans and seraphim once lived together in harmony, and he dreams of restoring such a world.

When he leaves home and meets Princess Alisha, Sorey discovers a kingdom poisoned by malevolence, a dark force born from human emotion that corrupts living beings. By drawing a sacred sword, he becomes the Shepherd, one capable of purifying that evil. Yet the heroic title from legend carries him into war, politics, and suffering that cannot be erased with one miracle, forcing Sorey to learn what it truly means to bear other people's salvation on his shoulders.
