Tsugumomo

Kazuya Kagami always carries the obi that belonged to his late mother, never realizing it has become a tsugumomo, an object that gained a spirit after many years. When a cursed being attacks him, the cloth transforms into a girl named Kiriha and saves his life, then declares herself his partner and protector despite treating him with very little gentleness.

Kazuya learns that distorted human wishes can create dangerous amasogi, premature spirits born from ordinary objects, and that he has an unusual connection to their appearance. With Kiriha, he begins resolving supernatural incidents around him, but every case brings him closer to the truth about his mother's death and the power hidden in the obi he has carried all his life.
