Sword Art Online II

A year after surviving Sword Art Online, Kazuto Kirigaya is trying to rebuild an ordinary life when mysterious deaths become linked to the game Gun Gale Online. A player calling himself Death Gun shoots people inside the game, and shortly afterward the people behind those avatars die in the real world.

Kirito enters GGO to investigate and meets Sinon, an expert sniper who uses the game to confront an old trauma involving guns. The two enter the Bullet of Bullets tournament, where Death Gun is hiding among the competitors. Unmasking him forces Kirito back toward memories of SAO he would rather bury, while Sinon must face the fear that made the virtual battlefield feel safer than reality.
