News reports, rankings, counseling questions, and trivia turn battles from Gun Gale Online and Alfheim Online into material for arguments that reveal what each participant would rather leave unexplained.

The hosts try to maintain an orderly discussion, but jealousy, embarrassing footage, and sudden interruptions repeatedly derail the program. Even outside the virtual worlds, Kirito discovers that surviving his friends' commentary can be its own difficult mission.
