Hal no Fue

Hal, a tanuki living in the forest, finds an abandoned human baby and decides to raise him as her own. Disguising herself as a human mother, she names the child Pal and teaches him the gentle music she creates by blowing across a blade of grass.

Pal grows into a gifted boy whose talent draws attention far beyond their quiet home. When an opportunity in the city calls him away, Hal must face the painful distance between protecting the child she loves and allowing him to follow the future waiting for him.
