Liz to Aoi Tori

Mizore Yoroizuka and Nozomi Kasaki are close friends and senior members of Kitauji High School's concert band. Their final competition asks them to perform the central duet in Liz and the Blue Bird, a piece built around a fairy tale in which a lonely girl must decide whether loving the Blue Bird means letting her fly away.

Mizore's oboe and Nozomi's flute should move together, yet the emotional distance between them begins to surface in their music. Graduation is approaching, their futures may separate, and the meaning each girl sees in the tale is not the same. To play the duet honestly, they must confront what their friendship has become and whether closeness can survive the freedom to choose different paths.
