Hokuto no Ken: Fist of the North Star

In the year 199X, nuclear war burns the world, drying the seas and reducing civilization to ruins. Humanity survives only to enter an age ruled by strength, where gangs and brutal fighters seize food and water while the weak live at the mercy of anyone powerful enough to crush them.

Across this wasteland walks Kenshiro, the man with seven scars on his chest and the rightful successor to the deadly martial art Hokuto Shinken. He pursues Shin, the man who took Yuria from him, yet he cannot ignore the cries of the oppressed along the way. Every village he saves and every tyrant he brings down spreads his name farther across the desert, gradually turning a man searching for the woman he loves into a symbol of hope in a world that has forgotten mercy.
