Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch I - Koudou

After the Holy Britannian Empire conquers Japan and renames it Area 11, exiled prince Lelouch Lamperouge lives in hiding as a student, carrying a deep hatred for the empire that discarded him and his sister Nunnally. A chance encounter with a mysterious girl grants him Geass, the power to force any person to obey one command.

Lelouch assumes the identity Zero and begins turning scattered resistance groups into an organized force aimed at destroying Britannia. On the opposite side of the conflict stands his childhood friend Suzaku Kururugi, who believes the system should be changed from within and fights for the empire. Thus begins a rebellion led by a strategist with absolute power over others but far less control over the consequences his commands create.
