Evangelion Movie 3: Q

Shinji Ikari awakens fourteen years after the events that nearly destroyed the world, though no time seems to have passed for him. He finds himself aboard a ship operated by WILLE and discovers that Misato and his former allies now treat him as a danger, NERV has become their enemy, and the Rei he tried to save is gone.

Shinji escapes to NERV and meets Kaworu Nagisa, the only person willing to explain what happened and offer him hope that the past can be repaired. Kaworu tells him that two spears may provide a way to reverse the catastrophe, and Shinji clings desperately to the idea. In a world that changed without him, however, his need to fix everything becomes dangerous when he still does not understand who is telling the truth.
