Cyborg 009 (1979)

Joe Shimamura and eight other people were kidnapped and transformed against their will into cyborg weapons by the Black Ghost organization. Each was given a different ability, from incredible speed and flight to underwater survival and destructive power, all for a war they never chose to fight.

Instead of serving their creators, the nine escape and turn those stolen powers against Black Ghost. Led by Joe, Cyborg 009, the team travels across the world confronting the organization and other threats born from human ambition, while holding on to the humanity that their mechanical bodies were never able to erase.
