Mushishi Zoku Shou

Ginko continues walking from village to village in search of phenomena caused by Mushi, primitive forms of life that exist close to the roots of the natural world. They are neither animals nor spirits in the ordinary sense, and their presence can alter sight, sound, memory, time, weather, or even the boundary between life and death.

The people Ginko meets rarely face simple curses. Some have unknowingly lived alongside Mushi for years, some depend on them, and others try to exploit powers they barely understand. Rather than destroy what seems strange, Ginko must uncover the balance behind each case and decide how much a Mushishi should interfere when human wishes and nature are already tightly entangled.
