Shinmai Maou no Testament Departures

After returning from the Demon Realm, Basara Toujou finally has a chance to spend peaceful time with Mio, Yuki, Kurumi, and the others. That calm is interrupted when a summons arrives from the Hero Village, the place tied to Basara's childhood and to memories he has avoided confronting.

Returning means facing people who remember the boy he used to be, along with the pain behind his departure. While Basara trains and prepares his companions for what may come next, the visit forces him to examine the distance between the hero he was expected to become and the family he has chosen to protect.
