The Impression of First Gundam

Amuro Ray is swept from an ordinary life on Side 7 into the One Year War when a Zeon attack forces him into the cockpit of the RX-78-2 Gundam. Aboard White Base, he and a crew of inexperienced civilians are driven from one battlefield to another, pursued by Zeon's ace Char Aznable.

As Amuro grows from a frightened teenager into a formidable Newtype pilot, the war around him becomes a chain of encounters, losses, and battles that shape the course of the conflict.
