Cowboy Bebop

By 2071, humanity has spread across the solar system, and bounty hunting has become a profession for anyone with a ship, a weapon, and enough luck. Aboard the Bebop, Spike Spiegel and former cop Jet Black chase criminals for reward money that usually disappears into repairs, food, and bad decisions.

They are eventually joined by debt-ridden Faye Valentine, young hacker Ed, and the unusually intelligent dog Ein, turning the crew into an unstable found family held together more by circumstance than agreement. Each carries a past they would rather outrun, especially Spike, who left the criminal underworld and Julia behind. Between one bounty and the next, the past proves more persistent than any fugitive.
