Bakemonogatari Recap

After surviving an encounter with a vampire, Koyomi Araragi finds himself repeatedly drawn toward people burdened by supernatural afflictions. His meeting with the weightless Hitagi Senjougahara leads him to the specialist Meme Oshino, while a lost child named Mayoi Hachikuji reveals how easily an apparition can attach itself to unresolved feelings.

Looking back on these first cases, Koyomi recognizes that helping someone never means carrying every burden for them. The strange bonds he forms with Hitagi, Mayoi, and the people around Oshino's abandoned school shape the path he continues to follow.
