Gensoumaden Saiyuuki: Kibou no Zaika

A radiant object called the Pearl Jade descends from the heavens carrying the power to grant any wish. Doctor Ni informs Gyokumen Koushu of its existence, and Lirin passes the news to Kougaiji, placing several rival groups on the trail of the same dangerous treasure.

Kanzeon Bosatsu orders Sanzo, Goku, Gojyo, and Hakkai to find the Pearl Jade and seal it before desire corrupts whoever reaches it first. Their journey becomes a contest against enemies and against the wishes each traveler would be tempted to make.
