Middle schooler Hiroshi trips during a fight with his rival Gorillaimo and lands on a frog. Instead of dying, the frog becomes a living print across the front of Hiroshi's shirt, introduces himself as Pyonkichi, and immediately begins interfering in his owner's life.Pyonkichi speaks, argues, eats, and displays strength far beyond an ordinary frog, making him both Hiroshi's closest companion and greatest source of embarrassment. School rivalries, family trouble, and neighborhood romance become louder whenever the stubborn pair disagree.

As the secret organization Galactor launches a campaign for world domination, conventional forces prove helpless against its enormous machines and ruthless attacks. Dr. Nambu of the International Science Organization answers the threat with a team unlike any ordinary military unit: five young specialists trained to combine advanced science with ninja techniques.Led by Ken the Eagle, the Science Ninja Team takes to the skies aboard the God Phoenix. Joe, Jun, Jinpei, and Ryu each bring their own skills to the fight as Galactor strikes at vital resources and scientific facilities across the world, forcing the five to risk their lives against increasingly destructive schemes.
