The Dinosaur Empire has fallen and Musashi Tomoe is dead, but Dr. Saotome never believes peace will last. His fears are confirmed when the militaristic Hyakki Empire emerges and begins a new campaign for domination, armed with enemies powerful enough to make the old Getter Robo obsolete.Saotome answers with Getter Robo G, a stronger machine requiring a new three-man team. Ryoma Nagare and Hayato Jin are joined by the broad-hearted baseball player Benkei Kuruma, who must fill the place Musashi left behind. Together they face the Hundred Demons while learning that replacing a fallen friend is not the same as forgetting him.

Maya is a newly born honeybee whose curiosity is much larger than the hive's strict rules allow. Raised to become a worker, she struggles to accept a life in which every bee must simply follow orders. Hoping to find new flowers and bring more honey home, Maya leaves the hive without permission.Her friend Willy is sent after her and soon joins the journey. Beyond the familiar honeycomb, the two encounter a huge variety of insects, beautiful places, dangers, and moments of loss. Maya's independence often gets her into trouble, but every meeting teaches her something new about nature, responsibility, and other lives, slowly turning the impulsive young bee into someone wiser without extinguishing her curiosity.

A strange craft releases the metal-devouring monster Gilgilgan near Japan, forcing Great Mazinger and Getter Robo into the same crisis. Their pilots initially treat one another as rivals, and their lack of coordination allows the creature to feed, evolve, and become an even greater threat.Realizing that neither machine can win alone, the two teams set aside their pride and devise a joint assault. By drawing Gilgilgan away from populated areas, they prepare a decisive battle that tests the combined power of both legendary robots.
