After Yuugi Mutou solves the Millennium Puzzle, his body becomes home to a mysterious spirit tied to an ancient Egyptian past it cannot remember. At the same time, the card game Duel Monsters rises rapidly in popularity, and Yuugi proves to be a gifted duelist. Competition becomes far more dangerous when Seto Kaiba targets Yuugi's grandfather in pursuit of a rare card.With the help of his other self, Yuugi defeats Kaiba and becomes a name other duelists cannot ignore, drawing him into tournaments and rivalries aimed at both his skill and the Millennium Puzzle itself. With every duel, the nameless Pharaoh's lost history comes closer to the surface, and Yuugi and his friends discover that some games can place real memories, souls, and lives at stake.

In Orgon City, the phantom thieves Kiramekiman announce their targets before every theft and still manage to escape the police each time. Behind the masks are Lip, the police chief's daughter, and Puff, a boy who came from 500 years in the future.Their thefts are not driven by greed. The fictional hero's image and the real man behind it collide as Paradise King forces them into battles across the island, and Shinnosuke discovers that saving the adults may require Action Kamen to become a hero off camera as well.

Doraemon and his friends accidentally open a passage through time and arrive in Mayana, a jungle kingdom inspired by an ancient civilization. There Nobita meets Prince Tio, the heir to the throne, who looks almost exactly like him but possesses the confidence and discipline Nobita lacks.The two boys decide to exchange places and experience each other's lives. Their game quickly becomes dangerous because Mayana is threatened by the witch Ledina, whose curse hangs over the royal family and the kingdom itself. As Doraemon's group becomes involved, Nobita must do more than imitate a prince: he has to help Tio defend his people and prove that courage is not determined by appearance.

The evil scientist Achimoff steals the energy capsule that powers an entire 22nd-century city, plunging transportation, computers, and almost every modern system into darkness. Only one reserve capsule remains, and the Doraemons are given two hours to deliver it to the power center.With electricity unavailable, their only usable transport is an old steam locomotive pulled from a museum and driven by a young engineer named Robin. Achimoff attacks again and again along the route, turning the desperate delivery into a race where the Doraemons must protect both their precious cargo and the one machine still capable of moving.

Some time after the children's first adventure in the Digital World, a strange Digimon egg appears on the internet and hatches into a virus that consumes data at terrifying speed. As it evolves, computer systems across Japan begin failing, and the damage spreads far beyond ordinary network trouble.Taichi and Koushirou send Agumon and Tentomon into cyberspace to stop the creature, with Yamato and Takeru joining the fight from afar. But when the virus gains access to military systems, the battle online becomes a race to prevent a catastrophe in the real world.
