Chihayafuru 2

Chihaya Ayase begins her second year at Mizusawa High with a karuta club that is no longer merely trying to survive. The team now has a clear ambition: win the national team championship at Omi Jingu. Keeping the club growing, however, means recruiting first-years, and the two newcomers who join do not initially share Chihaya's overwhelming devotion to the game.

Between teaching beginners and facing stronger schools, Chihaya continues pursuing the title of Queen, while Taichi pushes his own rank and wrestles with feelings he rarely says aloud. Elsewhere, Arata begins rediscovering his desire to play after stepping away. The competition that once separated the childhood friends gradually becomes the same force drawing their lives toward one another again.
