Yama no Susume Third Season

After a summer that changed her relationship with the mountains, Aoi becomes much more willing to go outside and choose challenges for herself. Mount Fuji still remains in her mind after the difficult earlier attempt, but she no longer wants one summit to define all of her progress. With Hinata, Kokona, and Kaede, she explores new trails, enjoys the autumn scenery, and steadily builds the strength for future goals.

Aoi's growth also begins changing her relationship with Hinata. As Aoi becomes comfortable making plans and spending time with other friends without relying on her, Hinata feels a distance that did not exist before. The climbs now concern more than altitude: the girls must learn how a childhood friendship stays strong when each person begins walking some paths at her own pace.
