Yama no Susume Second Season

After beginning to overcome her fear of heights through childhood friend Hinata, Aoi Yukimura no longer treats mountain trips as something she is merely dragged into. Together with Kaede and Kokona, the girls begin camping and planning more ambitious climbs, and Aoi fixes on a clear goal: reaching the summit of Mount Fuji, once an almost unimaginable challenge.

The path toward it is not smooth. Training, weather, and exhaustion impose limits enthusiasm cannot simply erase, and Aoi learns that failing to reach a summit does not cancel the distance already climbed. With each trip she becomes more independent and begins choosing new goals for herself, while her friendship with Hinata grows from a childhood promise into something through which both girls mature.
