Yama no Susume

Aoi Yukimura once loved mountains, but a childhood accident left her afraid of heights and far more comfortable with quiet indoor hobbies. Starting high school shy and isolated, she has little reason to revisit the outdoors until Hinata Kuraue, the energetic friend she used to climb with as a child, suddenly reappears in her life.

Hinata refuses to let their old promise fade away. Beginning with modest outings rather than impossible peaks, Aoi slowly rediscovers what she enjoyed about climbing. Every trail brings new scenery, new friends, and a little more confidence, turning the mountains she feared into a place where she can grow at her own pace.
