Zhuge Liang, better known as Kongming, dies after a lifetime of warfare and military strategy wishing he could have lived in a more peaceful age. He suddenly wakes in modern Tokyo with a young body and all his memories, briefly mistaking Shibuya's lights and music for a new kind of hell. Inside a nightclub he hears Eiko Tsukimi sing and recognizes talent far greater than the confidence she has in herself. Eiko introduces him to modern music, and Kongming decides to use the strategies that once moved armies to advance her career. From attracting crowds to outmaneuvering rivals and creating opportunities, ancient tactics become tools for building a singer's future, though every plan ultimately depends on Eiko finding the courage to let her own voice carry it.
