Elle wakes in Los Angeles in 2032 with no memory of who she is or where she came from, yet her body knows how to fight with deadly precision. The only clues she possesses are a locked data device and a black lotus tattoo, giving her two fragile starting points for reconstructing a missing life. As she searches for answers, names and faces connected to a bloody night begin surfacing, and each discovery leads her closer to the people responsible for what happened to her. But the city around her is filled with humans, replicants, and wealthy figures able to purchase almost anything, and the answer to the simple question “Who am I?” may be more dangerous than the enemies Elle is hunting.
